Remote Monitoring and Control via TETRA network
Whenever there is a need for secure and reliable monitoring and control of remotely located technical installations, Zonith's Remote Telemetry and Control Unit (RTCU) will do the job. It operates on a TETRA network (and GSM), which is used for public safety and security communication, and is the safest wireless way to transmit information.
Remote installations that previously had to be controlled manually can now be monitored and remotely controlled by personnel on the ground through their TETRA radios
Zonith's Remote Telemetry and Control Unit's are characterised by their high quality, reliability and robustness even in harsh conditions. Typical uses include:

The RTCU is extremely easy to make operational. Plug it in, connect it to a Sepura or Motorola radio and configure the inputs and outputs with SDS text messages. The RTCU's are delivered pre-configured for control and monitoring and need only alarm texts, recieving terminals and security codes to be operational. No programming is needed.
Combining multiple RTCU's with Zonith's automated alarm handling and dispatch system TETRA Alarm Control System will enable rapid response to any problem occurring at remote installations. The Tetra Alarm Control System is able to monitor alarms originating from the RTCU, and ensure automatic notification of relevant personnel.
