Remote Monitoring and Control via TETRA network

For a more efficient workplace, the RTCU saves you the trip to remote installations unless it is absolutely necessary. The RTCU connects to alarm sources and sends text messages via GSM or TETRA if a threshold level is reached. It can also be used for remote control of lights, gates, sound or other technical installations - directly from your handset.

A More Efficient Place of Work

Remote installations that previously had to be controlled manually can now be monitored and remotely controlled by personnel on the ground through their TETRA radios. The RTCU operates on a TETRA network (and GSM), which is used for public safety and security communication, and is the safest wireless way to transmit information.

Zonith's Remote Telemetry and Control Unit is characterised by high quality, robustness and reliability - even in harsh  conditions.

An input threshold level is reached and the RTCU sends an SDS (radio text message) to employees - either directly or through the ZONITH Alarm Control System.

 

 

Easy SDS Configuration

The RTCU is extremely easy to make operational. Plug it in, connect it to a Sepura or Motorola radio and configure the inputs and outputs with SDS text messages. The RTCU's are delivered pre-configured for control and monitoring and need only alarm texts, recieving terminals and security codes to be operational. No programming is needed.

Adding Enhanced Automated Response

Combining multiple RTCU's with Zonith's automated alarm handling and dispatch system ZONITH Alarm Control System will enable rapid response to any problem occurring at remote installations.
